Halloween/ Homecoming pics
Big Ten Champions
Penn State University
Champions Of The Big Ten Conference
Congratulations Nittany Lions
Here's a couple of pics of the celebration downtown after last night's Penn State victory. I'll post some photos of us welcoming the team and the Big Ten trophy home just as soon as I find someone that had a working camera and went with us last night. A roving band of Penn State fans parading down College Ave drunk on Championship Glory ( and cheap beer) Celebration on Beaver Ave near Canyon One more thing, The McKeesport Tigers beat Woodland Hills to win the WPIAL Quad A championship last night at Heinz Field. This may be the best team McKeesport has put on the field since 1995 when the Tigers lead by former PSU linebacker Brandon Short and current Steeler Mike Logan won the WPIAL title and went on to a state championship. Lets hope the current version of the Tigers finds the same happy ending.
peace out yo
we are..........
Excuse
OK so the lack of posting in the last week was totally not my fault. The internet in my apartment was broke again and I'm far to lazy to post from a computer lab, that would seriously cut into my between class nap time and I'm just not willing to make that sacrifice. I had a whole bunch of stuff to write but most of it's no longer relevant, I found the missing t-shirt I had been searching for all week and I couldn't score tickets for the PSU -Michigan St game so I'm not driving to East Lansing tonight. In other still applicable news we're having a big party tomorrow we're all cooking (I'm making ribs) then we're going to watch an obscene amount of sports (4 high school championship games including McKeesport vs Woody High, Pens vs Flyers, and PSU vs MSU). I'd write more but it's Beer and Ping Pong night and I've recovered enough from Thirsty Thursday to start again. By the way I'll be back in the Burgh Monday, I'm probably gonna dork-it-out and go see Harry Potter one night but besides that I'm open. I wouldn't mind playing a little hockey and /or going to a game if the chance presents itself. But the weekend beckons so I'm off to cause mischief. I'll talk to you all on recovery day (Sunday) peace out yo

Build Their Monorail
Ok first off I know 80% of the people that read this are from Pennsylvania but I'm sure there are a few people on the west coast that occasionally end up here so listen up. My cousin Christian (http://obviousdiversion.com/) has been leading an effort to build a monorail in Seattle for at least a year now and with elections once again upon us there's a big push to make the public aware of the issue. They even made the paper last week, in an article called The Last Idealists Dreading a Future without Mass Transit, Young Activists Stage Long-Shot Battle to Save The Monorail check it out at http://www.thestranger.com/ I'm not even going to try explain the issue to you because 1) I haven't read enough to understand it completely, 2) I'm lazy and he's already done all the work on the website for 2045 Seattle, http://2045seattle.org/ So if your in the Seattle area take some advice temporarily misplaced Pittsburgher, this is the kind of cause you need to get behind and if enough of you get behind it you'll see results. Unfortunately Pittsburgh will not be getting a viable mass transit system anytime soon, we were guaranteed that nearly ten years ago when Maglev moved in and said they intended to connect the Airport, Downtown, Monroeville, and Greensburg. You know it only took eight years to build the Transcontinential Railroad, it's been a decade since Maglev set up shop and the only floating train I've seen was on Back to the Future III.A little treat for all the Pennsylvanians out there that plan on voting.CLICK HERE for a list of all those sneaky State Reps that voted themselves a pay raise in that midnight session. Remember just cause the gave it back when we caught them doesn't mean they're sorry. One more thing, my Nittany Lions are playing Wisconsin this weekend in a game that will decide the Big Ten Championship ( our first since 1994). The game will be on ABC or ESPN at 3:30 on Saturday. If you get a chance check it out, it should be a pretty good game. Plus we're doing another White Out so Beaver Stadium and the Best Student Section In The Country will be going Nuts.peace out yo
