A Slightly Overdue Update

So there hasn't been a real update on this site since February so I figure it's about time to play a little catch up.

First off I apologize to everyone that I didn't get a chance to hang out with during my abbreviated summer vacation. Between my job and the fact that I had to be out of my old apartment by the middle of August there wasn't a lot of time to fit everything I wanted to in before I moved back up not that I'm complaining about spending two full school-free weeks in the happy valley.

Which brings me to some other interesting news, my spring plans have changed I'm now staying at Penn State through the Spring Semester then coming back to the Burgh to student teach in the Fall. In related news for the first time since I was 16 I don't have a car so my trips home are going to be a lot fewer than last year, so I guess everyone's just going to have to come up here instead. There are certain parties that read this that have made few or in one shocking case no trips to PSU in the last year (I'm talking to you Biz) I expect this to be remedied some time this semester.

In other news

I'm total pumped for the return of hockey especially after my poor football team got smacked around last week. To be honest I'm a little disappointed by out free-agent pick ups but the fact that Malkin is going to play totally makes up for it. I'm especially excited to see the progress Whitney, Welch, and Armstrong are going to make this year. Although I'm not about to come out and make a bold Stanley Cup prediction like last year I will say that if those three players have break out seasons a playoff spot isn't that unrealistic. If your going to be in the Burgh in the next few weeks Pens training camp is taking place at the Igloo, admission and parking are free and I think the Camp tournament could be especially entertaining with all the young talent that's going to be in camp this year

ok i have some real work that needs to be done so that's it for now,

peace out yo

A teacher starts a new job in West Lafeyette, Indiana. To make a good impression, she says that she's a Purdue fan. She asks the class if they're fans too. All raise their hands but 1 little girl. The teacher asks her why she didn't raise her hand. "Because I'm a Penn State fan, and proud of it," the girl replied.
The teacher asks, "Why are you a Nittany Lions fan?"
"Because my Mom & Dad are Penn Staters, so I'm a Penn Stater too!"
"Well," said the teacher, "that's not a reason for you to be a Penn State fan. You don't have to be just like your parents all of the time. What if your Mom was a prostitute and your Dad was a drug addict, car thief, and wrote bad checks, what would you be then?"
The girl said, "I'd be a Michigan fan."
