sometimes it's just easier to steal the ideas of others
I've got a crazy pile of home work to do tonight , but i wanted to post something so i stole this survey from beth's site.......
the totally lame but requisite high school survey
What year was it? junior year? 2001-2
What were your three favorite bands or musical artists?
Pearl Jam, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers
What was your favorite outfit?
wide-legged jeans my black psu hoodie and my addias supernovas
What was up with your hair?
Short and spiky with way too much gel
Who were your best friends?
MY Brude!... Bisquick (nine and a half toes) Ashcroft, Jason (onion) David, TK The Giant Killer, The Amazing Giuseppe, "The Living Legend" Timmi March, rachel, steff, kristina......
Where did you work?
The Cookie store
Who did you have a crush on?
which day?
Did you fight with your parents?
Only when they saw my English grade
Did you smoke cigarettes?
No, I was too broke and lazy to even consider smoking
Did you lug all of your books around in your backpack because you were too
nervous to find your locker?
NO, i kept my pillow, iced tea, cd player, and newspaper in my bag ( i usually just left the books in the bottom of my locker under a disgusting pile of dirty gym cloths)
Did you have a 'clique'?
We were self proclaimed losers ( I think, we may have been real losers in denial)
Did you have "The Max" like Zach Kelly and Slater?
Quois? I have no idea what that means. We used to hang out in my basement , especially during hockey season, hockey-pizza night happened at least once a week, and was accompanied by ultimate frisbee weather permitting ( and sometime inspite of the weather).
Admit it, were you popular?
Ok if you say so; I like to think I was well known and popular in my own circle
Who did you want to be just like?
Eddie Vedder or Kevin Smith (this hasn't changed)
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to go to Penn State, and teach when they made me leave
Where did you think you'd be at the age you are now?
Exactly where i am, except i thought i would have gone skydiving by now.
So there you have it, my reflections of life at South Allegheny High School
peace out yo

The Nittanyproudfoot; Now Taking Requests!
Trev requested these pics from his and ben's rollerhockey championship game
They lost because the ref disallowed a goal he said was off the post. You can clearly see in the third photo down that the puck was in the net. (ok the online pics a little blurry but if you don't believe me i'll show you my hard copy)
Peace out yo

An Immaculate Reflection

I don't have any words of comfort today, it took me this long just to start writing.
All I can say is it hurts like hell, there's no silver lining, no words of comfort that mean anything, there's just the lingering feeling that we missed something special. But the pain is starting to numb and in a few weeks this game will take it's place alongside AFC championships from 93,94,97,and 01. The anger however will probibly last a little longer, now I know what your thinking " Anger? Hey they played bad but there's no need to be angry." Well I agree I'm not mad at the Steelers it's the fans especially the season ticket holders. I know of at least 4 season tickets that went unused on Sunday. FOUR! Steeler tickets to the AFC Championship Game went unused because their owners decided that it was "Too Cold" I was forced to work during the game because these people had tickets. Did they sell their tickets? NO, Did they give their tickets to someone else? NO. They just didn't go. And even worse than the one's that didn't show up were the people that left early. They make me sick, how can these "Steeler Fans" just give up and go home? There are so many of us who will only go to a handful of games in a lifetime if we're lucky but these people just leave when the game isn't going our way. I've been to one Steeler game in my life, and that was ten years ago, that may not seem very long to some people but I've only been alive 20 years. But fans don't have to go to the game to catch my ire, there are plenty of drunken retards roaming around the three rivers that turned their backs on the team five minutes into the game. I was trying to watch the game when a big dumb-ass with a Rothlisberger jersey and a "big Ben #7" tossel cap walked through the door and informed me that.... "Ben sucks we should put Tommy gun in" and that......"We should have drafted Manning" Not only is that the stupidest thing I've ever heard but it's also impossible since Manning was drafted before our pick. What I'm trying to say is, I think I hate most Pittsburgh sports fans. And I have a whole lot more to say on the topic but that can wait for another post.
ps. I'm still going to training camp at St. Vincint's in August and I have four open seats in my car
Here we go Steelers!
Peace out Yo

I don't care ABOOT NHL Players eh!
I've had enough!
I NEED hockey now! And the ECHL just isn't gonna cut it anymore. I think it's time that I make something very very clear. I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE PLAYERS OF THE NATIONAL HOCKEY LEAGUE.
II don't care if Chris Chellios or Alex Tanguay ever play hockey again. It makes absolutely no difference to me who's name is on the back of an NHL jersey, I'm there to see HOCKEY DAMMIT! Every single player in the NHL can move to Siberia where they'll play in dilapidated rinks left over from the heyday of the Red Army. It's totally cool with me if Alexi Kovalev and Joe Thornton want to play hockey in the European equivalent of the Rostraver Ice Garden in front of a bunch of peasant farmers. So what I'm trying to say is, I think the NHL should consider bringing in scab players, screw the NHL "all-stars" there are millions of Canadians (and about 14 Americans) that would kill for a chance to skate onto the ice wearing a Montreal Canadians jersey. There are hundreds of other hockey leagues in North America, the AHL, the ECHL, the Quebec Junior League, not to mention the NCAA. I'm sure you could find plenty of players on teams in Bridgeport, Hershey, and Whelling that would be more than happy to have an NHL contract that paid them two million a year even if that league featured a salary cap. Listen the NHL Players Union is NOT the Coal miners Union from 1873, they are not victims. Last time I checked very few NHL players had contracted Black Lung from on ice conditions and even fewer had been decapitated in freak mule cart accidents (though it dose warm my heart to think of Jager being crushed by a stampeding mule) Anyway I'm tired of writing now so I guess I'll end this tirade. I just can't understand how an NHL player can profess their loveof the sport and yet be willing to kill it just for their personal benefit.
peace out yo (eh)

Contemplation
Dude yesterday was scary as hell, just think about it. A military caravan rolling down Pennsylvania Ave. Protestors kept at a safe distance , locked behind steel fences and guarded with chemical spray in places with names like "Freedom Plaza". A parade surrounded by private bleachers filled with loyalists, snipers looking on from the roof tops. A wackjob religious fanatic in a armor-plated Limo waving through two inches of bulletproofed glass. And the propaganda minister announcing the name of "our fearless leader" as he makes his way through the handpicked crowed back to "the compound"
Just Something to Think About
Peace out Yo
Forgive Me Steeler Nation, I Still Doubt
Steelers vs. Patriots AFC Championship Game Sunday 6:00pm, Heinz Field
OK I admit it, I still don't believe the Steelers will win the Superbowl, I'm really sorry and I know I'll probably be hunted down and killed by a roving band of intoxicated Steeler fans wielding torches and pitchforks as soon as I post this, but I just can't see them winning this year. I guess I've just been hurt too many times, too many AFC Championship losses, not to mention Superbowl XXX (the Cowboys paid O'Donnell to throw that interception). Listen, no mater what happens on Sunday I will cheer on my Steelers. I'll be estatic if they reach the Superbowl and I'm not sure what will happen if they win. But regardless of the outcome I'll still make the trip to Latrobe to watch them practice under the hot July sun.
So what I'm trying to say is.....
HERE WE GO STEELERS ? (I HOPE, BUT I'M NOT QUITE SURE)

A Dark...... Dark Thursday
It's inauguration day and I'm too bitter to think of anything witty.
....So, dumber half of America, I hope your happy, you got what you wanted
and now we all have to live with it.....
To every one else I hope this will brighten your day a little, it's from
a site called www.turnyourbackonbush.com
On Inauguration Day, we will gather as citizens for the public events of the day and join the rest of the crowd. At a given signal, we will turn our backs. Until the moment we turn around, there will be nothing to distinguish us. By leaving our signs and buttons at home, we will avoid all of the obstacles that Bush and his supporters have used to keep anyone who disagrees with him out of sight.
One of the things that makes Turn Your Back on Bush a unique action is that we won't know who is participating until the moment it begins. This is a nonviolent, silent, and non-responsive action. We expect that our actions will cause some supporters of President Bush to confront us. In order to make this action as effective as possible, we will publish action guidelines and expect those people participating in the action to remain silent, refrain from escalating, and above all, keep this protest non-violent.
For this one moment, the opposition to Bush will stand together

That's it for now,
Peace out Yo

Canadian Missile Crisis !
I was searching for a paper topic today and I couldn't think of anything so
in an act of desperation I picked up my copy of Non Campus Mentis
and opened to a random page here's an excerpt from what I read..........
Wars fought in the 1950's and after included the Crimean War,
Vietnam, and the Six minute War. President Eisenhower resorted
to the bully pool pit. John F . Kennedy worked closely with the Russians
to solve the Canadian Missile Crisis.
I still haven't thought of a good idea for my paper and the "Canadian Missile Crisis"
is looking better and better by the minute.
Peace out Yo
Suprise! I moved.....We'll almost
